10th INTERNATIONAL GEOREGNET SUMMER SCHOOL

HERITAGE AND REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT IN CENTRAL AND EASTERN EUROPE

Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, 03.07 – 17.07.2022

Faculty of Geography and Geology, Institute of Geography and Spatial Management

Dear Students and PhD Students,

In recent years the issue of recognition and activating cultural heritage as a resource in local and regional development, a unique type of territorial capital which may impact on diverse dimensions of socio-economic development has become an important area of geographic studies.

Taking this into account, The Institute of Geography and Spatial Management at the Jagiellonian University is organising a summer school focused on this issue taking place in Krakow on 3-17.07.2022 within the framework of the CEEPUS cooperation programme. We encourage in particular students from GEOREGNET network of cooperation of departments of geography to take part, though other students from universities participating in the CEEPUS grant programme are also welcome.

Students who wish to participate in the school should contact the organisers but also officially apply via their own home institutions. For further information please contact Katarzyna Rotter-Jarzębińska or Monika Murzyn-Kupisz (Email: geohss@uj.edu.pl; Phone: tel. +48 12 664 5303 (Tue-Fri)).
